Urban Morphometrics Research & Development Cluster
It is our vision to make urban morphometrics a collaborative effort that evolves in time through collective knowledge. This is why we have promoted the constitution of an international research and development cluster to be regarded as an open community of knowledge unified by a common scientific mission: building, sharing and working on a common ground to maximize knowledge and opportunities and continue developing the urban morphometrics approach.
Currently the Urban Morphometrics Research & Development Cluster gathers researchers from four main institutions:
- The Urban Design Studies Unit (UDSU) at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow (UK)
- The Geographic Data Science Lab at University of Liverpool, Liverpool (UK)
- Le laboratoire d’ Étude des Structures et des Processus d’Adaptation et des Changements de l’Espace (ESPACE), Université Côte d’Azur, Nice (France)
- the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation at University of Twente, Twente (Netherlands).
